Ever watched a car chase scene so intense that it left you thinking, “That car definitely needs a new windshield”? Hollywood truly has a knack for turning brand-new-looking vehicles into poor, beat-up clumps of metal. We know it makes for a good cinematic experience, but our technician fingers just can’t help but itch to get them fixed!
Let’s take a fun drive through some iconic movie scenes where cars (and their windshields) truly could have used ShinePro’s expert touch!

1. The Fast and Furious Series
If there’s one thing the Fast and Furious franchise teaches us (aside from the importance of family, of course) it’s that cars can fly—literally. Take, for instance, the scene in Furious 7 where Dom and Brian jump a supercar through not one, but two skyscrapers in Abu Dhabi. The landing alone would have any ShinePro technician reaching for their tools on instinct!
2. Bullitt (1968)
Steve McQueen made car chases look infinitely cool in Bullitt, but those vintage muscle cars definitely took a beating. The iconic San Francisco chase scene ends with more dents and cracked windshields than a demolition derby. Just imagine the ShinePro team rolling up to restore those classics to their showroom glory!
3. Jurassic Park (1993)
When the T-Rex decided that the tour vehicle looked tasty, those windshields just didn’t stand a chance. Between dino drool and teeth marks, it’s safe to say that a ShinePro intervention was desperately needed to keep those jeeps from becoming prehistoric fossils.
4. Casino Royale (2006)
James Bond is known for his suave gadgets and cars, but he’s not exactly the best at returning them in mint condition. In Casino Royale, the Astron Martin DBS flip not only set a world record, but also probably set a record for most glass shattered in a single scene. We fix cars and windshields for a living, so that was particularly hard to watch!
5. The Blues Brothers (1980)
It’s hard to decide what needed more work: the Bluesmobile’s suspension or its windshield after Jake and Elwood’s mission from God led them through a shopping mall. If the ShinePro team were there, “We’re on a mission to fix that windshield” would 100% be our catchphrase!
6. Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
In this post-apocalyptic wasteland, cars aren’t just vehicles; they’re lifelines. But even lifelines could use a little ShinePro care every now and then (or daily). Mad Max: Fury Road features some of the most rugged and wildly modified vehicles ever seen on film, all of them experiencing non-stop destruction across the desert. After each epic battle, a ShinePro specialist would definitely need to roll up their sleeves (and probably put on a suit of armor while they’re at it).
7. Die Hard with a Vengeance (1995)
John McClane has a talent for finding trouble, and in the third installment of the Die Hard series, it’s no different. The taxi chase scene across New York City leaves more than just a few traffic violations in its wake—smashed windows and cracked windshields also definitely made themselves known. A quick call to ShinePro could’ve had that taxi back in business, or ready for another round of troublesome car chases.
8. Back to the Future (1985)
When Marty McFly took the DeLorean back to 1955, the car became an icon. But let’s not forget that time travel can be tough on a windshield, especially when you’re hitting speeds of 88 mph and dodging lightning strikes. After each temporal jump, a ShinePro check-up might have been just what the Doc needed.
9. Ronin (1998)
Famous for its realistic car chases through the narrow streets of Paris and Nice, Ronin shows that even the best drivers in the world can’t avoid a scrape or two. After a high-speed chase involving some seriously tight corners and a barrage of gunfire, ShinePro’s expertise would be necessary to get those European sedans back to looking sturdy and shiny.
10. The Italian Job (2003)
This heist film is a goldmine of mini coopers darting through tunnels, dodging traffic, and jumping over obstacles. While the mini coopers are indeed resilient, their windshields are unfortunately not immune to the chaos of pulling off the perfect heist. Post-mission, a ShinePro service could have been the real getaway these little cars needed!
11. Transformers (2007)
In a world where cars can transform into giant robots, you’d expect a few windshields to suffer—and you’d be right. Transformers takes automotive damage to new heights (literally), with Autobots and Decepticons turning city streets into their very own battleground. After the dust settles, a ShinePro team would definitely need to roll out to get those heroic Autobots back into dealership condition.
12. The Bourne Supremacy (2004)
Jason Bourne’s high-speed Moscow car chase is as gritty as it gets, with his battered taxi barely surviving the whole thing. The windshield ends up more cracked than a secret spy code. Once Bourne’s done evading his pursuers, a quick pit stop at ShinePro would definitely be a smart move.
13. The Dark Knight (2008)
Gotham’s own Batman tends to leave a trail of vehicular chaos in his wake, especially during the iconic chase scene involving the Batmobile and the Joker’s convoy of trucks. While the Batmobile is built to take some hits, the other cars involved? Not so much. ShinePro’s technicians would be on standby to fix up those poor civilian casualties.
14. Goldfinger (1964)
It’s not just modern movies that feature some serious car damage. In Goldfinger, James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5 introduces the world to an array of spy gadgetry, including a bulletproof shield. However, the windshield could still use a bit of ShinePro’s touch after all those daring escapes and near-misses. Classic car, modern care!
15. Speed (1994)
An entire movie built around a bus that can’t slow down without going boom? You bet that’s going to be tough on the windshield. High-speed impacts, final dramatic crashes—the bus in Speed would be a prime candidate for some post-adventure ShinePro refurbishment where we make sure it’s ready for a much calmer commute!
